Summary This collection contains several engraved portraits of Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) who donated 200 pounds and the use of his name to the establishment of a PA-German College in Lancaster PA in 1787. Franklin College later merged with Marshall College to form the modern Franklin and Marshall College.
